I have two small children and we are living in a hotel for a couple of weeks and this app is literally getting me through it!!! Its a must for busy parents.

Instacart has been a life saver for our family in the last months of pregnancy and now with a new baby! Shoppers are communicative about replacements, prompt, and friendly, and customer service has been great consistently. Wish we could get alcohol in VA and use store shopper credits, like VIC at Harris Teeter, but otherwise great.

If you are someone that is disabled and its hard for you to make it to the store, or youre a couch potato this service is for you. Why? Because it would be much cheaper to use a delivery service like Walmart To Go or to check with your local grocery store to see if they offer delivery. Prices for most stores via this app or 15% higher than what you would pay if you went to the store. Granted the app makes that clear, its still a waste of money. A 12 oz box for Cheerios, for example, is $4.50 through the app compared to its $2.05 price at the store. Even worse, this app solicits for tips. Similar delivery services pay their workers by the hours so they dont have to pass tipping onto the customer.

Im a college student who lives in the middle of downtown, and I hate taking the bus to get groceries. this app is wonderful for getting things I need, and the people are very kind. however Im only rating this 4 stars because the delivery fees are so expensive and I never get any coupon codes or anything which adds up being broke college student.

Overall, instacart is basically a 5 star service. So why did I only give it 2 stars? Because Im sick of it harassing me to rate it after Ive repeatedly told it that I dont care to. #noMeansNo UPDATE: even after rating the app, its still harassing me. So Ive dropped my rating to 1 star.

The service is great, but I expect my frozen foods to be frozen and my cold items cold when delivered! This was my second delivery with defrosted items. For my third I will not be purchasing anything that needs to be refrigerated or frozen. Defeats the purpose of being convenient, but I cant get any answers as to why this keeps happening other than the "We have staging areas at the store that keep the contents at their appropriate temperatures" response. Nice but what about in a hot car driving in South Florida traffic? How will you protect my food?

They have cut the employees pay below minimum wage for their own profits. You will No longer get top notch service with what they are paying people to provide the service to you.

I love this app. I am a member and use it weekly for my main shop. In general, it works pretty well and when it doesnt, the customer service team go out of their way to resolve the issue. To be even better, it would be helpful if the app: 1) Gave a window of time to expect calls and texts for changes. I often find Im unable to respond immediately and if you dont within a short period, its often too late 2) Remembered the comments on replacements that you made. I make the same selections and add the same comments each week, which is a bit annoying.

This app works well. Not perfectly but considering how complicated grocery store inventory can be its amazing it works at all. The shoppers have always been reliable kind and thoughtful when it comes to choosing replacements going as far as calling or texting me to ask questions. Theyve also always been right on time. I think this app is such an amazing service especially if you are in a pinch and cant get to the store or also if youre having a party. It was a lifesaver when I had to plan my fathers funeral reception and was NOT in the mood to drive around to 3 stores to get what I needed. Everything I ordered showed up as planned right on time.

I really like this app because of how accessible it is to blind people.

Orders always came wrong even when I specified substitutions. bags always came jostled like they were thrown around. just no. I was done. the last order I received was just unacceptable.

Instacart has completely changed my life! I absolutely hate going grocery shopping and have very little time to do it. With Instacart I dont have to worry about it anymore and can count on good healthy foods being delivered every single week.

I love this app! It makes my life so much easier! Ive used it both in Cambridge, MA & Austin, TX and will continue to do so. I also used it to send chicken soup & other comforts to my sick daughter in a different state - she had everything in less than an hour! I purchased the yearly plan for unlimited free deliveries and its worth every penny! The grocery selection is wonderful & on the rare occasion that there is a problem their customer service takes care of it easily & promptly. Cannot recommend it enough!

Why did you stop including wine in your deliveries???!!! Making a French dish that needs a white wine so I still need to go out - so frustrating!
